Introduction
Google Analytics is a popular web analytics platform for tracking web traffic and clickstream data. It offers a variety of statistics and reports which can be used for ad targeting and search engine optimization. The data collected by Google Analytics can be used as initial training data for Miso’s search and recommendation engines.
Integration Steps
-
Set up a BigQuery export from your Google Analytics project.
-
Within BigQuery, export the data contained in the SESSION_HIT table as a .csv or JSON file. This table contains data about your site visitors, their session id, and any pages that they visited. For help with exporting table data within BigQuery, please refer to the official guide.
-
Send the bulk file (it may be very large) to your Miso Support Team using Amazon S3, SFTP, or a similar method.
