Importing Data into Miso
Overview
Miso relies on three types of first-party data to train the real-time personalization engines:
- Product catalog data
- Interaction (clickstream) data
- User data (optional)
The first step for implementing Miso is to import your historic product catalog, interaction, and (optional) user data for the initial engine training and testing. For the interaction data, we recommend at least 3 months of clickstream logs. You should also set up a real-time data pipeline for the interaction data before deploying Miso in a production environment.
Over the next few sections, we will explore the schema requirements and importing methods for each data type.
